Syncopated synth-lead hook (F-Eb-C, rebound up to Ab) stated in every chorus and the outro, teased by the Rhodes in the intro, inverted and sequenced in the verses and a rising pre-chorus, and transposed in the bridge. Rhodes comping on the pushes, 16th clavinet chops, finger bass locked to the kick with octave pops, ghost notes and chromatic approaches. Chords: Fm11, Bb13 (dorian), Dbmaj9, Ebm9-Ab13, Cm11-F7#9, Gb13 tritone sub to C7#9/C7b9, Am7b5-D7b9 and Db13sus pivot in the bridge. Tight swung 16th hats, ghost snares, open hats and claps in the choruses, brass stabs and choir oohs in the lifts, half-time breakdown bridge.
